A lot of people are stupid and hack their game ot have their pokedex complete and then just put shit up thinking that they can actually get something. Think twelve year olds. +trolls.
That and anyone who does put up a fair trade, will probably have that trade go through since, well, it's a fair trade.

What pisses me off the most though is that people get outrageous trades. Like my friend who got a shiny charizard for I think a machoke. It's shit like that that encourages people to ask for outlandish things.

lately i have only been using it to get free event pokemon through exploits, all i had to do was change auto obtain dns on my ds to no and type in the dns for the server, so far i have more than 1 whole box full of the black and white japanese shiny event entei suicune and raikou. I also have a whole box of the event arceus. today i got the pichu that gives you the notch ear one. the first 2 i got from this guy called FrancisGTS and the picu was from somewhere else i found out about it from the new pokemon section on 4chan
