"gets dizzy" That did come up a lot, I guess that's the cool thing in Raimon. As for the show hopefully the next gym battle is good too (can't wait for Fuuro). At least the writers are picking up on the fact that people hate rematch episodes.

I was really happy to finally see Kamitsure, I'd been waiting for many episodes. One ep ends,"We're on our way to Raimon!". Beginning next ep, "On their way to Raimon, BUT...". But now that we're past it, I'm back to patience. Kamitsure gets dizzy a lot but never falters despite those heels. The roller coaster gym bits were short but awesome looking.

I imagine they keep Ash stupid because it's easy. It would be difficult to remember everything he's learned in the past and keep up with a character. Hence starting fresh in every region. Overall with anime battles, they seem like "Attack! Attack! Dodge! Attack" without any strategy, which is boring. Though there are sometimes where there's something useful and well thought out.
Something else I noticed about Ash is, at the start of new regions somebody always has to tell him, Weaken Pokémon before capture! When healthy, they may escape!. But they have to cater to new audiences, too.

1. Finally a decent gym battle, thank god there wasn't rematch episode. This was decent episode considering the previous one was less than great.

2. Yay! Kamitsure finally appeared! She has a soul and doesn't look bad either plus she is cute! Yay!

3. I can't help but think the writers want to make Ash either stupid or immature. He tried to think his out of a battle (like the rest of us) but they totally messed up his character in the end. Ash is known to use strategy (ie, league battles, some gyms, random matches). In the end this episode was "willpower wins the day, we don't need no darned strategy". Why do they keep Ash in this state?
