You know, when I heard the track off of the 2 B a Master cd, I instantly thought that the male vocals were more powerful. Do any of you guys feel that way, or did you pass it off as the visuals doing it?

I think it's the 2nd best episode.

I don't think I actually payed attention to the music when I first watched the episode. I was too busy being sad - I couldn't believe Ash and Pikachu might separate.
Not gonna lie - makes me cry. I intentionally try to not watch that episode. I know it's a 20 minute show intended for a younger audience... but still.

Anyway, I'm very familiar with the 2BA Master song. I've listened to the album way too many times.
I sing it to myself, sometimes, and I love the the feeling of the one-time tragedy.
Plus it makes you believe that Ash thinks about stuff other than winning, sometimes.

Anyone I discuss it with either didn't care, or was genuinely affected by it.
I'd like to write a new future where Ash had stayed dead/Medusa'd/White Witch'd.
Then he comes back, in future Poké time, and everyone's like "whoah wtf is this Pidgey and Pikachu crap?! Lookit my Robozord Spacecat Alien Fusion Monster."

OH YES, Whenever I re-watch pikachu's goodbye I get a feeling of happiness rather than sadness(because I know what happens), But Everytime I watch butterfree get released with its mate, tears rush ^_^;

I remember watching this in theatres and being overjoyed by the thought of Ash staying dead and being replaced by a competent trainer so that the anime would not suck so hard.
