I agree, Goldenrod Radio has a nice flow to it.

I do like Goldenrod Radio as an idea, but to just add some more ideas into the mix, how about 151chan's Pokemon Talk, sort of like the Oak's Pokemon Talk broadcast from your pokegear radio in G/S/C?

I'll have you know that I noticed this thread right away, and began work on a banner that day.
But I didn't know the dimensions, plus I don't think my banner would end up sufficient in quality.
It was going to be the Sugimori PokéGear with 151chan Radio in custom text on the screen, using a pokegear's radio screenshot as the screen.
I had alternate ideas of just making the banner in the style of the PokéGear radio screen, using only the game font.

How do I get in on the action of streaming my tunes?

Individual shows would be named uniquely, like Prof. Red's Pokémon Talk or Team Rocket Take Over or whatever.

On the topic of actually getting the stream ready, you'll want to use the Edcast plugin for Foobar or Winamp. It's not too terribly difficult to get working, but don't make the mistake of downloading the stand-alone version. There's normally somebody on irc who knows how to set it up if you run into any problems.
As for where to broadcast, I don't know the current configurations of the 151chan icecast server (if it's up at all), so you'd have to ask Ross. I've been broadcasting on 7chan's server, thanks to Cyro, and I'll continue to until we secure a dedicated icecast server here. At that point we can probably start switching off DJs and such.

icecast can support multiple DJs, you could all play stuff at once if you wanted to.

I think these are great ideas and wouldn't mind participating. This thread has kind of died and we've been sticking with Joe as the main broadcast and Goldenrod radio as the name and alls been well. But we could definitely get some cool stuff going here whenever someone feels like producing any of these great ideas.

So, just bumping for a cool thing that I think we should pick up again sometime when we find the time. ;)
