Hacks like Quartz and ShinyGold on GBA carts for only around 10$ USD shipped. Considered putting this in /emu/, but this is actual buyable stuff.

>sorry for any mistakes, I am new to this board. Redirect me if this is in the wrong section.

Hello everyone! My boyfriend has taken up sculpting Pokemon for fun. He has gotten a few local offers for purchase, and wanted to see if the internet peoples would be interested in commissioning him. His price varies with each figure due to difficulty, size, and extra material.

>The Gyaraodose/Gyaradosi? in the photo aren't fully complete, but you can see how it is going. I will reply with more photographs.

Yeah these def. aren't pro. They would make thoughtful free gifts though. But keep makin' stuff, you'll eventually become stellar. Maybe look into sculpey instead of this glazed/painted clay look.

I've also seen regular button sets on eBay.

Very snazzy. They do look awesome, and it's great to see some high-quality craftsmanship into these.

Clay and the like is great, but it doesn't seem to be quite as uniform as it ought to be for badges. Still, these looks to be tinted glass on a metallic background and that really doesn't seem quite right. It's certainly better than what we've had before, but it's still not 100% and I certainly wouldn't value the whole set at $130 and an extra 45 for that display.

I think what I'd go for would be cast metal pins, the texture and weight like you see regular pins with, like you might pick up at Disneyland or something. Take that, raise the edges and internal borders of the badges and use glossy and either translucent or opaque glaze (depending on which badges) to fill in the blocks as solid color. That way you've got the shiny nickel (or brass for Unova's set) for a raised impression of the badge itself and have the clear colors that you want. Something about these just seems too... light. Some of them, Hoenn's and Sinnoh's especially, just look off somehow with the borderless glass look.

What will go well if 151chan released a few shirt designs. I'm thinking a Rocket related design, as long as it's not influenced by Ed Hardy's crap.

Pic unrelated.

$1.89/toy, with tax it cost $16.03 for all 8. Don't be afraid to push for what you want - the McD's I went to actually went to the back for me and pulled out an unopened box so I could get 'em all.

Wow, your McDonalds has productive employees. I know most of them would probably lie to you and say "Sorry, this is all we have."

I know I would... and I did when I worked in Wendy's. ; )

I'm going to make a trusted seller/store list.

What I'm going to list below are real stores and websites that you can trust if you want to purchase some official, Pokemon items. I'm also going to list some sellers whom are notorious for selling fake products so people here will know not to buy it from. Hey, maybe they can even spread the word and help others (if there are actually nice people on the internet, lol). : )

If anyone has any info they like to share, such as sharing the stores you visit and buy from, feel free to!

Store:
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Center_%28store%29
- If you live around these areas, then you're sure to find any Pokemon merchandises.

Bootleg guide:
http://pkmncollectors.livejournal.com/3315872.html
- Beats mine by a longshot and definitely worth reading.
