To find names that are possible we have to think that until now the games always got more "precious", they started off as simple colors, evolved into metal and so on. As far as I know Platinum is the most precious thing on Earth.
Conclusion: Gen V will have names based on space stuff, like Pokémon Sun and Moon maybe?

My boyfriend mentioned something about Egyption Mythology. We think they'll use Horus and Set (their Pokemon counterpart) as their cover mascot art. They'll probably include some other Egyption Gods such as Anubis, Isis, Ra, Bastet, etc. as legendaries.

The only material-based names I can come up with to surpass Diamond and Platinum in monetary value are Plutonium and Uranium. It would be about some Pokemon versions of Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong-Il racing to see who can find and capture some rare nuclear powered Pokemon or something, I dunno. It's a horrible idea, but those are the only names that doesn't get into theoretical or imaginary things. Pokemon Higgs Boson and Pokemon Adamantium anyone?

Sapphire & Ruby remakes will probably be something like Crimson Ruby and Velvet Sapphire.

The Phobos Battallion is the main evil team in the game, and you spend the entire game playing bejeweled with pokémon face icons and gagging at the script and visual style of the "cutscenes." All in all, it's a game best forgotten; if you want another DS pokemon game, try Dash, it's like a full game out of the Mario64DS snowball minigame and gets pretty addictive.
