Another fun fact about the event-
"Only Pokemon players who have beaten the Elite Four, claimed the National Pokedex, and have two or fewer Wonder Cards can solve the riddle of the Enigma Stone" (pokébeach).
Not sure how straight forward this really is. To me, this sounds like you can get the stone if you haven't done the following but you can't use it or "solve the riddle" to use it until those tasks have been completed. On the other hand, the mentioning of the Wonder cards makes me think that "solve the riddle" is just a fun expression they're using and you cannot get the Enigma Stone without beating the Elite Four and getting the National Dex.
Saddens me, I wanted to get two stones so I could have both event Latibros but I only have the prerequisites for Soul Silver, Heart Gold is rather unfinished. In any case, I'll just have to play through Heart Gold which isn't too big of a deal (and we have practically a whole month until the event ends); the only reason I brought this to mind was because I was unsure whether or not people could still acquire the stone without reaching the set checkpoint.

You can still get the stone if you haven't met those requirements. That elaborate explanation is just a fancy way of saying that you need to have gotten to Kanto, without spoiling too much. The Enigma Stone activates in Kanto, which you can only explore when you've beaten the Elite Four, and have gotten the National Dex via boarding the SS Aqua.

Deleting the Wonder Card just means that the card disappears. The event will stay, and the Pokewalker route would still be there. I've yet to really understand why we can only have three Wonder Cards at once. It may be because some events can be shared with people, buy utilizing the Wonder Cards (I believe Rotom's Secret Key was one such event.)

Just a heads up to anyone who hasn't downloaded the Enigma Stone event item. The event ends in 3 days (The 27th), so be sure to get it while you can!

This is the final day to download the Enigma Stone event to encounter Latios or Latias in HeartGold and SoulSilver.
