There are 18 different types to choose from. For multiple reasons, Psychic is one of the more popular ones with fans and, so far, is actually not too overpopulated. We pretty much know we're getting at least a hundred more species this gen and so, at most, one fifth of them will be at least part-psychic. I don't see why this is such a big fucking deal. Maybe it's just me, but I'd be much more concerned if we were getting, oh, say... twenty new water types. I can appreciate the lack of interesting type uses and combinations, but that doesn't mean you should just bitch about them "overusing" types you don't particularly like, for whatever reason. I like psychic types, but they could have been more original. That gothic loli could have been psychic/ghost easily. But gamefreak just wants to give us the same shit again.

I thought it could of been a Spiritomb or Sableye pre-evolution, but meh. But if you consider the central doll thing as the pokemon, the psychic type makes sense. It uses telekinesis to make it's body.
I also agree with Nona, there are enough water types.

Psychics are fine, but Pure Psychics are bland, I think. Hopefully these two will evolve and become a bit more varied.

I was thinking the goth loli was a Dark/Psychic type. Who knows? Perhaps Rankurusu might have another type. As for Koromori, I guessed Ghost/Flying.
