HEY FAGGOTS!? HOW DO YOU POKEWALK?!

Mine clips right onto the little gem on my laces. Never fallen off either. I get about 20K a day on a slow day.

If he were trying to be cool, he should have claimed to make a suit out of them and them wore it in a marathon race where he leveled every pokemon to 100.

The email field holds blatant lies.

It almost makes sense though, 'cause there *are* three slots you can drag a pokémon to in the menu, but AFAIK you can only register one pokewalker per game...

I don't drive, I ride my bicycle everywhere, and I do it with my pokewalker in my pocket.
I grab at least 20,000 steps a day from biking alone.

You know if you want six of em without having to buy 6 copies of the games (like I Did), you can check out game stop in a couple of weeks i heard they're selling them independently, or you can find them on e-bay or some other store

I don't think it's possible to have more than one registered to your DS. If I'm wrong, I'd love to see some proof. Having my team all with me....
>> No. 5568
Just realized it's the exact same screen as Pokéathlon team selection, where you DO use alll three slots. It was simply a matter of laziness that they didn't make a screen specifically for the walker with only one slot. Also, after having de-registered my HG walker, I can confirm that it is impossible to have two or more walkers per game, as SS will not let me register it without first abandoning the first one.

TL;DR- Mender was right to begin with and I can confirm that Destroctdo is, in fact, full of shit.

i have a friend who bought HG and SS so he has two. keeps one in the front left pocket, one in the front right. i must say, he looks pretty awesome pullin out dual Pokewalkers every morning.

I made mine into a necklace. It doesn't pick up as many steps, but I never had to worry about losing it and it's the first thing other trainers notice. I have people coming up to me at Wal-Mart looking to connect.

Similar to this, but I wear it facing outwards. I have it clipped onto the small change pocket most jeans have, which is more secure than the main, as it is tighter.

Pic related, pretty much every morning at my high school, everyone who knows anyone with one meets up and connects.

My Current set-up whenever I'm not out for a long period of time. Item's included:
-Two Rubber bands.
-One of those tough Livestrong type wristbands.
-A Paper-files clip
-Long clip used to hold opened chip bags shut
and a ceiling fan xD.
I believe I could do this without so much stuff but I don't feel like risking another slingshot to the wall so this set-up works well.

I get around 20K every couple of hours.

God. Dammit.

I walk to 10k. Five minutes 'till it resets. I get like 8x! in a row, then I finally get a class A.

Attack, attack, att-CRIT. Enemy motherfucking pikachu has fainted.

And then the time ticks over and my steps go back to one.

I have a question regarding the pokemon.

So i have over 9000 (not joking here, just a coincidence) watts or whatever.

However, it never unlocked the Hoenn Field(Unlock Criterea 5000 Watts), or Warm Beach (Unlock Criterea 7500 Watts).

Why is this happening? Is it because I haven't gone to the other region in my HG yet?
>> No. 5757
>>5756
If you go over the required watt amount for a route when you transfer watts to the DS, it'll give you a message like "A new route may appear soon." to unlock the route, go on a stroll, and (whether or not any watts are required is unknown, just shake it enough for 1) return immediatly. It should unlock the next route in sequence.

EXAMPLE: Happened to me today:
I transfered over 8000 watts to the DS (as i save them up for large transfers), i my total was 1000+ what was required for the next route, so i went on another stroll, got 1 watt, and returned. It unlocked the route afterward.

Same thing is happening to me. I believe anything Hoenn field and onwards only unlocks after the national dex has been obtaine, since they have Hoenn/Sinnoh pokemon.
That doesn't mean you should stop though, because the last route needs 100000 watts. So thats approx 2000000 steps.
I wear mine on my sock. It's secure enough so it won't fall off, and I can tap my foot in lessons to get some extra steps. Averaging about 11000 steps.

Claw's seems to make more sense tbh, but i might try the other 'strategy' although that sounds rather odd that there would be such problems.

I agree. If you haven't gotten to SS Aqua and gotten the national dex, that is your problem. My solution is for people who have the NatDex, but have the same problem. Sorry for any confusion.

Alright then.

Thanks for the help.

Well what happens is basically the same as the level you gain on a walk. You can only gain one level per walk, and likewise can only unlock one course per walk. This means that for a particularly active person, you could possibly (as in my case) have unlocked something like the first five or six courses before even thinking of returning from your walk. It will give you the "may unlock a new course soon" message once you're close to or over the required step amount. If you're over (check bulbapedia or other sources for step requirements) the amount to unlock them, then just leave for a walk an immediately return. It unlocks the next course because it re-checks your step count against the next unlockable course in the list.

As for the Hoenn and later courses, yes the nat'l dex is required. Which, for slowpokes like me, ends up meaning that I may well have unlocked up to Big Forest by the time I even get to Kanto... :P
Let's see... As I write this, I'm currently in the middle of my battle with Jasmine. Yeah, I've got a ways to go yet...
