Because:
A) It's not the third-person-speak that's causing the problems if I'm understanding the situation
B) The command can make conversations more interesting when used in moderation and in the proper context
C) It's unfair to block an entire form of communication for everyone just because some users find it annoying
D) It's not possible to disable or remove /me since it's a part of IRC itself- you'd have to have direct control of the IRC daemon's configuration, and we obviously don't own Rizon's servers.

Why don't we just get rid of the "/me" command all together? As far as I can tell it serves no practical purpose other than making talking in the third person easier and more annoying.
